Over the years, Hollywood shape-shifter Johnny Depp has excelled in “difficult” films (Edward Scissorhands, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape), romances (Chocolat, Finding Neverland), and blockbuster comedies (the Pirates of the Caribbean films). John William Codling, a painter and the head of an institutional brokerage firm, turned to for inspiration when the financial crisis hit. His series of paintings "Sundays with Chris" debuted in New York City at Diane von Furstenberg's DVF Gallery. The paintings are being sold to benefit Team Continuum, a nonprofit organization that assists cancer patients and their families, founded by Codling's close friend Paul Nicholls.

In 2006, at the Salon International de l’Auto, Saab revealed its concept car the Aero-X. Saab, which originally began as an aero-engineering company, connected the doors and the windscreen, creating a cockpit canopy where the entire top section of the car is opened. The interior offers a clean Scandanavian interior design. All data is displayed on acrylic clear zones in graphic 3D images.
